Activity-Sensitization meeting of Sub County Leaders

Leaders from Kigorobya sub county, Hoima district during the sensitization meeting of "The Access to Justice and Human Rights Awareness project"

The sensitization meeting of the sub county leaders aimed at increasing awareness levels and respect for older persons human rights issues at the grassroots.

Different political religious, technical, civil, elderly leaders from Kitoba, Kigorobya, Kyan6gwali and Kiziranfumbi sub county were engaged in a one day sensitization meeting at their respective sub county head quarters.

The leaders were great full to the donor/Independent Development Fund (IDF) for granting funds to URAA that target the older persons which has not been and area of concern among many donor government. They pledged to closely follow up the implementation of project activities and support project work where need be.
